http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/digitalphotography/photostory/default.mspx  Microsoft's free Photo Story 3 is really a gem.  It lets you create audio/video slideshows using your digital photos, and it's EASY.  With a single click, you can touch-up, crop, or rotate pictures.  You can also add special effects, soundtracks, and your own voice narration to your photo stories, personalize them with titles and captions, and then and export them as a WMV movie.   The movie's small file size make it easy to send your photo stories in an e-mail.  One of its nifty features include its library of music samples and tracks that can be layered.   Photo Story 3 can also automatically generate the appropriate length for images given a song and a number of pictures - allowing you to easily create musical collages.
